CAUTION!!!

the 4th edition!
The 4th edition is more expensive, and contains answers to the Omnibus Workbook published with the 4th edition student materials. This Omnibus Workbook greatly enhances the effectiveness of the course.
The 3rd edition is quite affordable, but it's the 3rd edition. At least some of the material seems compatible with the 4th edition student material, but it does not have the Omnibus Workbook answers or supporting material for performing the exercises in the workbook.
I accidentally bought the 3rd edition, because it was the only one that came up when I searched, and these reviews were linked directly to the page they were advertised on. How was I to know I was getting sold something different from what was being reviewed? Needless to say, I'm NOT happy with the 3rd edition teacher's manual.
If you were linked to these reviews via the advertisement for the 3rd edition, (Read the small print. By the way, the cover's beige.) then please be aware that there's a 4th edition available, albeit at a higher price. It's hard to reach the page advertising that 4th edition. Try searching by "ISBN: 0521787408". That will get you to the latest version. (The cover will be bright red. The small print will say "Fourth Edition.")
In doing this, you will at least be permitted to choose the product which best fits your needs and budget.

Great for Students

This textbook is awesome for serious students who would really like to graspe latin better. It contains the answer key to all the exercises as well as tips for teachers on presenting the material. If you own the student edition, consider the teacher's guide to help you along your way!
